The BRACE Program is unique to the Broward County Public School System. BRACE provides students with information on post-secondary options, such as college, university, technical school, and military service, as well as information on scholarships, financial aid, college admission testing, and the college application process.
Post-secondary information is provided to students through classroom visits, events, and activities throughout the school year. Additionally, McFatter makes a point to hold a post-secondary conference with each student between their junior and senior years to ensure that they have a solid plan for after high school. Students are welcome to stop by anytime during lunch, between classes, and before or after school with their questions or if they need additional information. Appointments may be made upon request.
