Mission Statement
McFatter Technical High School
It is the mission of the William T. McFatter Technical High School to ensure that the high school experience for all students possesses the three "R's," Rigor, Relevance and Relationships, as articulated by Dr. Willard Daggett and his International Center for Leadership in Education.
William T. McFatter Technical High School is committed to providing an education for ALL students that allows them the opportunity to achieve three primary goals.
- Acceptance to a four-year university
- Possible articulation into a Community College
- Certification in a high wage, high demand Technical Area.
In order to achieve these goals every student is required to take a college prepartory curriculum of 24 credits predetermined by the school and an 8 credit course of study in a technical field selected by the student. We require the same 24 credits for all students. The 8 technical credits are studied in the junior and senior years.
